Tanggal Kegiatan:
Thursday, 24 September 2015 to Wednesday, 30 September 2015

Held on the paradise island of Bali, Bali International Film Festival, also known and registered as BALINALE, was established in 2007 by Bali Taksu Indonesia Foundation a non-profit, non-government Indonesian registered charity organization. Known for its specialized knowledge and importance in promoting Indonesia’s film industry growth, the festival has a long history of supporting established and aspiring local filmmakers providing them a platform to showcase their work while presenting a program of award winning fiction, documentary, feature and short films from around the world.

BALINALE is recognized internationally for the quality and diversity of its programming and its professional delivery of the associated events managed by a team of professional advisors and consultants along with strong support from the community. BALINALE has been affiliated with Motion Picture Association, Asia Pacific Screen Awards (Brisbane, Australia), ASEAN International Film Festival & Awards (Kuching, Malaysia), Asian Film Commissions Network (20 member countries) and in supporting American Film Showcase and Sundance Institute's Film Forward Tour in Indonesia.

Additionally, the festival exposes the country's creative resources; unique culture, rich story ideas, and diverse locations to the international filmmaking community for consideration of possible future projects.

Workshops and seminars are an important part of the festival program offering students and young filmmakers an opportunity to learn from established Indonesian and international professionals. Participation of Oscar®, Emmy®, BAFTA® and Cannes award winning filmmakers have helped us to achieve our goals of bringing together films and their makers as a gathering of global creativity.

The festival holds the honor of receiving the endorsement of the National and Provincial Government for its proven efforts in delivering cultural, political and economic benefits to the country.

This year's festival will feature 100 films from 25 countries many with attending filmmakers. The final number of films selected for this year’s 9th edition is up from 60 in 2014.
