The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation (AIPD) is a five-year program providing technical assistance and capacity building support to local governments and civil society to better manage public resources, leading to improved service delivery and reduced poverty.

The program is seeking qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions:

  1. Program Officers for Fak Fak District, Manokwari District, Kaimana District (3 positions) for West Papua Province
  2.  Program Officers for Merauke District and Supiori District (2 positions) for Papua Province
  3. Accountant for Papua and West Papua (2 positions)
  4. Education Planning and Management Specialist (1 position)
  5. Health Planning and Management Specialist (1 position)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

All position will be responsible to the Project Coordinator for coordinating the implementation of the program, and for developing effective strategies and institutional relations in the health and education sectors in each target Kabupaten. 

The positions will be nationally engaged with competitive rate.

 Qualifications for the positions:

  • Hold a Bachelors degree (S1) or the equivalent and/or relevant experience along with having at least 3 years of experience conducting programs in the community;
  • Have the capacity to manage a variety of challenges specific to the area;
  • Have communication skills and the capacity to build cooperative relationships with stakeholders;
  • Have good report-writing skills;
  • Have strong motivation and ability to work optimally with limited supervision;
  • Have a demonstrated capacity to make reports to contribute to the implementation of programs in his/her area;
  • Be able to work well on a team.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience with DFAT and or other donor funded programs.
  • Previous experience working in eastern Indonesia.
