Grant Funding Opportunity: applications for a series of small environmental awards

The U.S. Department of State Bureau of East Asia Pacific Affairs (EAP) announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for a series of small environmental awards to support local and regional small-scale environmental projects via the Regional Environmental Offices in Bangkok, at $24,999 or less per award. These awards are funded through EAP regional foreign assistance monies, and managed by the OES Regional Environment, Science, Technology and Health (ESTH) Officers posted to Bangkok for Northeast and Southeast Asia.

Opportunity: New Zealand visit for Southeast Asian agribusiness entrepreneurs and business leaders

The Asia New Zealand Foundation and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade offers six-to-eight young Southeast Asian agribusiness entrepreneurs and business leaders the chance to visit New Zealand.

The week-long programme will give participants a better understanding of New Zealand’s world renowned agriculture sector.

Applications close 1 April 2016.

The Government of the Republic of France in conjunction with the Indonesian Government has established the NUSANTARA Program. NUSANTARA is jointly managed by the Indonesian Ministry for Research, Technology and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI) and its French counterparts, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI) and the Ministry of National Education and Higher Education and Research (MENESR) but should encompass projects by any research centre irrespective of its administrative attachment.
