Willi Toisuta, a prominent figure in education from Eastern Indonesia, received an Honorary Doctorate (DR.HC) in law from Kwansei Gakuin University, Nishinomiya-Osaka, Japan in 1997. He was an Advisor for the Association of Christian Colleges and Universities International Ecumenical Forum from 1996-2000 and active in several organizations and programs aimed at increasing the quality of education in Indonesia. At this moment, he holds positions as the Vice Chairman of Institute Committee Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga, Central Java.
