Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program- Coral Triangle Initiative

The objective of the Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program - Coral Triangle Initiative (COREMAP-CTI) Project for Indonesia is to institutionalize the COREMAP approach of a viable, decentralized and integrated framework for sustainable management of coral reef resources, associated eco-systems and bio-diversity for the welfare of the communities in seven selected districts of five provinces in the country.

URBAN SECTOR DEVELOPMENT AND REFORM PROJECT

The objective of the Urban Sector Development and Reform Project for Indonesia is to improve urban services in the participating urban local governments (ULGs). The restructuring will: (a) cancel US$6.565 million of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) loan amount, and (b) reallocate proceeds between disbursement categories. The restructuring does not affect project co-financing from the Policy and Human Resources Development (PHRD) Grant.

Java-Bali Power Sector Restructuring and Strengthening Project

The Java-Bali Power Sector Restructuring and Strengthening Project for Indonesia aims to improve the performance of the power sector on Java-Bali by: (a) supporting the State power company (PLN) to implement its financial and corporate restructuring plan, and to strengthen key elements of the Java-Bali electricity supply system; and (b) assisting the State gas company (PGN) to prepare the groundwork for restructuring its gas transmission and distribution operations.

Local Government and Decentralization Project

The objective of the Local Government and Decentralization Project for Indonesia is to improve the accountability and reporting of the central government's Specific Purpose Grants (DAK) for the infrastructure sub-sectors within pilot local governments (LGs). There are three components to the project, the first component being DAK reimbursement. This component will be implemented using an output based disbursement financing approach.
