Poverty Reduction and Social Protection Support - Poverty Reduction Support Facility

Australia's support to the Indonesia National Team for Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) to help GOI define policy options, to translate their policy choices into operational programs, and to provide high-quality monitoring and evaluation; Australia's contribution of $7.5 million to the World Bank managed Multi Donor Trust Fund aims to help strengthen national efforts to reduce poverty and vulnerability by supporting the Government of Indonesia (GOI) in making informed and evidence-based policy program decision.

Third Water Supply and Sanitation for Low Income Communities

Aims to increase the number of low income rural and peri-urban communities accessing improved water and sanitation facilities and improving hygiene behaviours to help achieve the MDG target in water and sanitation. It will support water supply and public sanitation in 550 villages socialisation and awareness campaign, capacity building, local institutional strengthening and training.

Delivery Improvement and Local Governance

The purpose of DIALOG is to support sub-national governance following decentralisation reforms through piloting a system of providing incentives to local governments based on improvement in performance in public financial management and service delivery in health and education sectors. Eastern Indonesia National Roads Improvement Project

The Eastern Indonesia National Roads Improvement Project (EINRIP) is supporting major national road and bridge improvements which will promote economic and social development in eastern Indonesia. EINRIP supports 20 major road projects across nine provinces, totalling 395 km of national roads and 1300m of fabricated steel bridge structures. Works are scheduled for completion in December 2014.
